A study by Visa, which looked into shopping habits from May to October 2020, found that one in four online purchases in the UK is now made as a result of interacting with social media 17% of consumers purposely turn to social apps for shopping. Of those, 35% said convenience is a key driver, while 26% said they liked the speed of checkout.
